Avove Rolls Up Its Sleeves for Wigan MS Therapy Centre
As a business, we are committed to making a positive impact in our local community. Recently, members of our team rolled up their sleeves to transform the outdoor space at Wigan MS Therapy Centre.

Supporting the Wigan MS Therapy Centre
Our BTG team recently traded laptops for gardening gloves to support the Wigan MS Therapy Centre, which is a vital local charity offering therapy, advice and a welcoming space for people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
The centre plays a crucial role in the community, providing not just physical support, but also a place for friendship and connection. Our colleagues were proud to spend the day helping out, tackiling tasks like weeding, hedge trimming and digging flowerbeds around the centre to give it a well-earned refresh.

A Sense of Pride
Speaking about the volunteer day, Senior Project Manager, Amy Lucas said:
“A great day! As well as having fun with my team, in person, I left feeling a sense of pride that we could help people within the local community who really need it.”
The centre showed its appreciation, with Chairman Peter Elliot saying:
“A big thank you to the team for volunteering and coming along to our charity. Your help and support mean the money we’ve saved can go straight back into subsidising services for our members.”
Committed to making a difference in our local community
At Avove, we believe in giving back through our fundraising initiatives and through our team’s volunteering days. In addition to offering industry-leading services that support the utilities of the UK, we are committed to making a positive impact within the communities in which we live and work.
