Avove team complete Yorkshire Run for WaterAid
In September 2022, our fundraising team joined forces with Yorkshire Water, to complete the Yorkshire Run to raise funds in support of WaterAid.
The event, sponsored by Avove, was a great success and helped to highlight and raise awareness that millions of people around the world don’t have clean water to drink, decent toilets to use or good hygiene to protect themselves.
We would like to congratulate all our runners and give a special shout-out to our very own Operational Planner Ellie Wild who won the ladies 5k! Thank you also goes to Yorkshire Water’s Finance Business Partner Peter Bennett and Sustainability Advisor Amanda Parker and the rest of their team for their hard work and support in helping us to plan and organise the day.
Our team smashed their fundraising target and raised more than £1,700!
