Avove Vegetation Management Team Branches Out to Support Wildlife
Avove Vegetation Management supports local wildlife park with leftover branches
When a local wildlife park reached out for help sourcing tree branches to enrich the habitats of their animals, Scott Short, NPG Regional Supervisor, didn’t hesitate to offer support.
Supporting sustainability and the local community

When Yorkshire Wildlife Park reached out, NPG Regional Supervisor, Scott Short, quickly mobilised our teams to support the cause, demonstrating how we can make a difference beyond our day-to-day work.
Whilst we don’t always operate within a 15-mile radius of the park, Scott has encouraged all teams to keep an eye out and contribute wherever possible. Recently, our contractor, Oakbrook, delivered three full tipper loads of branches to Yorkshire Wildlife Park. The team was warmly welcomed and even got the chance to feed the giraffes!
Committed to making a positive impact
This is a fantastic example of Avove in action, living our values, supporting local communities and making sustainable choices. It’s a small act with a big impact, showing how we can all play a part in giving back to the communities we live in.
