As Finance Director, Darren provides strategic leadership for the company’s business and finance functions, as well as for the management of its financial and capital resources. He manages critical business functions, overseeing budgetary and financial planning, business applications development and support, procurement services and IT for the company.

Darren has over two decades of experience in finance: before joining Amey he spent four years at G4S covering the roles of Finance Director, Commercial Director, and interim MD in their facilities management division, establishing the commercial function for the business. Prior to that, Darren was at Diageo Plc in a number of senior finance roles across investor relations, sales, marketing and Group finance.

Darren has a BSc Hons Degree in Economics and Politics from Bath University and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
