What does a Principal Project Manager do?

My role focuses on the control of the pipeline of our works within the framework, overseeing current bids up to 2024/25. I manage a Principal Estimator and we contribute towards the setting of budgets and business plans for the year and working with the wider business to produce bids for new works.

We have ambitious growth plans, and we look at our capacity to deliver projects and grow the business. We work with the Procurement and Delivery teams to obtain quotes, validate information, assess risk and opportunities, and go through a robust governance process to approval.
